Follow all the action during Jolyon’s opening GP2 weekend

Fans of British racer Jolyon Palmer will be able to keep up-to-date with all the latest news on his progress during the opening rounds of the 2011 GP2 season in Turkey this weekend via his official website.

After narrowly missing out on the F2 title spot last year, 20-year-old Jolyon from West Sussex steps up to the renowned Formula 1 feeder series this year racing with Arden International.

The opening weekend at the Istanbul Speed Park gets underway tomorrow (Friday, 6 May) at 9.55am (GMT +1) as the 24 drivers begin their first 30-minute practice session. This is followed by the 30-minute qualifying session to determine the grid for Saturday's race one (1.40pm GMT +1).

Sunday's Sprint Race takes place at 9.35am (GMT +1) with the grid for this race being determined by the finishing order from race one, with the top eight positions reversed.
