Jolyon Palmer took centre-stage as Renault Sport Formula One Team unveiled many details of its upcoming campaign, including the 2016 car, at a major launch event in Paris(February 3). The 25-year-old helped reveal the RS16, which he will drive this year as one of the squad's race drivers.

At Renault's Technocentre in the French capital, Renault Group CEO Carlos Ghosn introduced the event and invited Jolyon, plus his fellow race driver Kevin Magnussen and Third Driver Esteban Ocon, on to the stage where the wraps were taken off the new car. It was unveiled in a predominantly black livery that the team will use for testing, but may change by the season-opening Australian Grand Prix.

Jolyon, when asked how it feels to hear the title Renault Sport Formula One Team racing driver, answered: "It sounds great! I can't wait to get started! It's been a long winter but a really useful one for getting prepared. I've been in Enstone a lot and training really hard. Later this month that I'll be back in the car in Barcelona; I couldn't be more ready."

ART Grand Prix boss Frederic Vasseur was named as Racing Director with Cyril Abiteboul as Managing Director, and Bob Bell becoming Chief Technical Officer.
